Robert Tyler Indiana Construction Worker Injured While On a Paving Crew

By John Daly on June 30, 2016

Robert Tyler, 53, of New Castle was working for Midwest Paving on a construction job in the 6900 block of Old Indiana 25 when, just after 7 a.m., he was struck by a blue 2013 Chevy Cruz driven by Nancy Miller, 66, of Battle Ground. While the obvious case is against the driver who hit him, often there is responsibility by other contractors, including INDOT, General Contractors, Safety Consultants and Sign Companies. Often the driver has limited insurance and the employer's underinsured motorist policy will make up the difference. We wish Mr Tyler a speedy recovery.
